Description
In the second week of our winter camp, themed "New Year's Snow World," kids will embark on an enchanting journey into the realm of the New Year and the magical world of snow.
Introduce children to vocabulary related to the New Year, snow, and snow-related activities like building snowmen. They will learn to express these concepts in an engaging and educational way.
Through the art of drawing snowmen, children will become acquainted with different shapes. This creative approach to learning shapes fosters artistic expression while reinforcing shape recognition. And then creating Crystal (Non-Melting) Snowmen through Safe Chemistry Experiments: under the guidance of our expert instructors, kids will participate in safe chemistry experiments to create snowmen that won't melt. This hands-on activity offers a unique blend of science and creativity.
Children will also develop an understanding of symmetry by identifying the shapes of snowflakes. This activity not only enhances their visual perception but also introduces them to fundamental mathematical concepts.
Kids will observe the fascinating process of snow melting, learning about various states of water, boiling points, melting points, and fundamental physics concepts. This provides a hands-on understanding of science in the context of winter wonderland.
Various activities such as building snowmen, sledding, and snowball fights are always the most exciting part. Physical coordination and team building skills will be applied.
With the guidance of our instructors, kids will learn how different animal species adapt to the winter season. They will discover hibernating animals, creatures that store food for the winter, those that build nests, and animals with special winter adaptations, such as growing thick fur.
